...bringing positive change to people’s lives through gardening and friendship.
Set in the stunning natural environment of a walled garden at the bottom of Box Hill in Dorking, the project was started to bring together the benefits of gardening and the possibility of friendship in a welcoming, safe and non-judgmental environment.
We offer crafting and gardening in supported sessions supplemented by plenty of tea, coffee and lots of cake! There are opportunities for volunteers to learn new skills and develop their knowledge of gardening and nature.
Run by volunteers, the Garden provides a friendly, supportive environment for all who come, holding each other with unconditional positive regard and interacting in a way that is kind, gentle and non-judgmental.
We especially welcome those with a need as a result of physical or mental health conditions, learning disabilities, dementia, bereavement or isolation.
